It is a necessity for all publically traded companies in Canada to file documents related to their mineral reserves on the “System for Electronic filing of Securities Information” (SEDAR) website. These documents are referred to as National Instrument 43-101 reports, or NI 43-101 reports. The reports publish technical information related to mineral properties including reserves, and sometimes they go into full details about mining methods. A qualified person is required to verify the content of the report. When searching in SEDAR, search on the document type "Technical Report - NI 43-101".
