There are many other organizations with interests in mining, such as Municipal Government or local economic development groups that may publish fact sheets about industry in the area. Local Museums may have other details.
Suppliers can also be invaluable sources of information. Atlas Copco (2017) published a great set of books with case histories about mining operations including books on Raiseboring, Blasthole Drilling, Exploration Drilling, Underground Mining, and Surface drilling and mobile crushing. Software suppliers may post images and success stories about the use of their products at particular mining operations too. Similarly, consultants are producing high quality webinars more frequently now.
